Quezon Memorial Circle

After posting my EDSA Shrine escapade last time where I mention that Quezon Memorial Circle is where I first fondled about my sentiment in staying in quiet and peaceful places, I realized that I haven’t posted anything about it yet in this blog. Therefore I decided to revisit the place the following day. QMC is just a ride away from our home so going to the place doesn't need any planning or anything. It only takes 10 minutes for me to reach the place. I feel so blessed to have this silent sanctuary in Quezon City and not to mention, near our place!

Shoes: MKNY | Bag: Handmade (bought from a housewife hobbyist)
My usual purpose of visiting this place is for jogging when I have time in the morning hence the reason why I never got the chance to take photos of it. It would be a hassle bringing a camera with you especially when you’re moving here and there. My usual jogging essential consists of 3 things: Cellphone for important communication purposes, iPod Touch for music and camera as well and coin purse for my transportation money and impulse purchases. That day, my main purpose is to take photos of the place for this blog so I carry my digital camera with me but still, I wear an exercise appropriate number just in case. I'm a girl scout that way!

The usual scenery in QMC every morning is people doing different exercises in every corner of the place. There are those who are running, dancing via Zumba, doing aerobics, boxingarnis, etc. I just love some random scenes that I have seen that day: a) Different breeds of dogs running together with their owners b) Zumba exercisers wearing hot pink shirts c) Sweet runner tandem d) A group of I think they are police or marine trainees who are doing morning exercise and e) A dog who is running alone on the track

My favorite part of this day is when I discover the free use of exercising equipment in one part of the park. Good thing I came in an exercise appropriate outfit even if my purpose is just to take pictures. Trusted Girl Scout instinct! I tried most of the equipment that was meant for abdomen exercise because that was my troubled area. I am planning to regularly visit the park every morning and spend 1-2 hours exercising while I am still unemployed. How I wish I can commit to be fit!

Since I am alone, all I have done is took my usual selfie (haggard version!)! I normally ask BF to take a photo of me including my outfit but since it is a week day and he has to go to the office, sariling sikap muna ang pagpipicture ko sa sarili ko!

Sweating while breathing fresh air is definitely a perfect way to start the day! Just realized that having an outdoor gym can be that good because of this!

Neon and Print + Mobile Blogging

Guess what? I'm blogging on my iPod Touch! I recently discovered this Blogger app for Apple devices and downloaded it right away! I'm so curious yet excited because if ever this works really nice, it will be giving me a convenient blogging-on-the-go experience. So, the first post I'm going to share via this app is my outfit yesterday (where photos are already transferred on this device for Instagram posting purposes).

I have a not so formal meeting yesterday so I opt for something fun and casual outfit. I've always been wanting to try the neon and print trend since it came out so yesterday was the day I finally tried it! And in my opinion, they are so good to wear together and I'm quite proud that I've pulled it off.

As for the accessory, I kept it minimal by wearing a white watch and my currently favorite studded black bag from www.chicnova.com

Sultry Red Nails

It’s Manicure Monday again! Luckily I got the chance to have another nail-related post today since it’s a holiday (Oh, how I love August for having so much holidays in it!). And holiday for me means celebration since I would have an extra time to do whatever I wanted to do including my rarely update on this blog. And to call for the celebration, I painted my nails red! Red, to many, can stand for a lot of things but today this is the definition I choose. Red is for celebration and festivity! After all, we are celebrating the National Heroes day today which marks the valor of our Filipino heroes that fought for our country’s independence. Red symbolizes their courage too!

This was my second time to paint my nails red but it was the first time that I felt my nails sexy. Instant sexy nails? Did that made any sense? Haha! Maybe it was because of the sultry tone of this one, we all know that being sexy is describe as sultry and that could be the reason why I achieved an instant sexy nail feel.  I first thought of having a simple nail art today like I promised in my last posts but when I tried this color, I know nail art would not be needed because the color itself can stand out on its own. To catch up with that, I intentionally get my striped t-shirt to resemble a nautical vibe for these nails. And seeing the photos, I know I succeed!

True nautical nails will come next I swear! I was inspired enough by cutepolish on Youtube that I wanted to replicate her cute version of nautical manicure! And this sultry red color would be perfect for that!

Intramuros + OOTD

I am a simple top + jeans kind of girl ever since. I tried (and trying) to get out of this comfort zone but I keep on failing. First, I am staying at the office 6 days a week, which requires me to wear a casual outfit (it was not really a requirement but if I will dress differently, I will look weird every time because of some social culture that is why I used the word require). Plus, I didn't own any personal transportation vehicle so I got to deal with several public commuters every single day. At least I should dress properly in public, keep my self comfortable as much as I can, and be appropriate for work of course.

This is the outfit I wore yesterday from office to a mini "date" with my boyfriend. Sleeveless top + cardigan +  skinny jeans + flat shoes are always my go-to outfit. I love how this classic casual look can be appropriate to office, date, malling, and almost anything I can think of where I can wear this combo!

We've gone to Intramuros in Manila, because I like to go to a silent and peaceful place where I can breath some fresh air after being burnt out to work the whole week. Intramuros is such a perfect place to go to! Thank you so much baby for spoiling my little wish again!

Summer 2013: Loreland Farm Resort

(Hello there big sister!) Summer is all about having fun under the sun so allow me to share another summer escapade I had with my family this time! One sunny Sunday, we decided to have our summer getaway for this year and since we didn't have any idea on where to go, I decided to bring them to Loreland Farm Resort where my classmates have once brought me for our overnight barkada get-together. The first time I saw this place, I knew this is awesome! And since my first time in here is at night, I thought I will appreciate this more  on daytime. And I was right!

Loreland Farm Resort is a piece of paradise in the heart of Antipolo City, Rizal. The ambiance in the place is just breath-taking, it feels like the nature is so close to you. Fresh air, green leaves and serene scene of the city. That's how I will describe my new-found summer place! And since the place is located in a high point of the country, taking a tour in the resort leads you to many stairs.

I wore a simple tank-top and shorts number for this trip and this means comfort!

I told you! This place has so many stairs to lead you up and down! We had so much fun playing in the water all day! Will I come back? Definitely, YES!

For more details, you can visit Loreland Farm Resort's website: www.loreland.com.ph or Facebook Page: Lorelan Farm Resort on Facebook
